Having been to many of the lodges on the Lower Zambezi we were thought
we had seen and experienced it all before, well we could not have been
more mistaken! We realised right from the moment when we were welcomed
at the entrance of the lodge by a small herd of Elephant that this is
going to be a trip of creating memories that we keep for along time to
come.
Paulette, Murray and I would like to thank you most sincerely for allowing us to postpone our trip to Patagonia when Paulette’s mother fell ill. Not only did you make this possible but the level of service was exceptional and arrangements impeccable.
So many destinations, so little time. We all have our personal ‘bucket lists’ shaped by our fishing desires and dreams that includes the likes of Seychelles, New Zealand and Alaska, amongst many others.
It is only a week since we disembarked from the Atmosphere and said goodbye after our
amazing time in Patagonia. Although the strain
of too many late nights, early mornings and overindulgences are still coursing
through my veins, the details and memories of a time I imagined I would never
forget, are already starting to fade into a delightful dream.
Yet again we had an amazing experience with Greg and his 2 guys on the Kubu Queen. We estimate that we caught between 130 and 150 tigers in 3 days with heaviest being 11 lbs!
