Little Mount  farm cottage is a 4 bedroom period style family home that has been beautifully restored as a fully equipped, self catering cottage for weekend getaways.

Set on a working farm in a pretty garden adjoining a farm dam and looking out over the green hills and valleys of the KZN Midlands, it is an ideal place to explore the surrounding countryside or to just relax.

 

 

 

 

 

 

An enclosed front patio with cottage furniture opens into a lounge with traditional fireplace, comfortable sofas and DSTV (bring own card). A separate dining room leads onto a kitchen which has been completely renovated for modern living. The bedrooms (2 with single beds and 2 with double beds) are situated in two wings of the house; each bedroom has its own private bathroom and an outlook onto the garden.
 

The cottage is serviced daily by a resident maid with milk being supplied from the farm dairy. Trout fishing is offered on one of the close-by dams and horse-riding is available to experienced riders by prior arrangement. The farm surrounds are perfect for long walks or mountain biking.

 

The farm is on the Midlands Meander and close to Nottingham Road for shopping or eating out.

Fly-fishing.
Wildfly offers guided fishing trips and clinics with qualified, experienced guides to a selection of 25 Stillwater’s and 24km’s of scheduled river. Clinic packages are available in Half day (4 hours) and full day (8 hours) clinics. Guiding and Clinic fees are charged per person:

 

Half day Clinic - R495 per Angler. This includes rod fees and guiding fees with an additional manual explaining all the theory of fly-fishing.

 

Full day Clinic - R885 per Angler. This option goes into more detail about the theory of fly-fishing and includes a light finger lunch.
