I had heard about the Barbel run but as with everyone else thought it was just that, Barbel. It was only when I saw your show on Supersport that I realized it was Tigers you were after. I must say that despite your entertaining program it does not do it justice. The Barbel run is truly a phenomenon of nature, you become a quivering wreck when you hear the sound of those gorging catfish proceeding the lighting quick Tigers ahead of the run.
You had better be prepared to lose more than your fair share of flies because this is non stop action. In the hands of Wildfly Travel and resident guru Greg Thomson you can’t go wrong. My Grandmother could catch Tiger Fish in the Barbel run!!! Although I didn’t break the ten pound mark I landed countless Tigers over 5 pound not to mention some 20 plus Barbel. I won’t make the mistake of waiting to book again as I see you are already full for the 2007 season. But look forward to breaking a rod or two with you in 2008.
